REPORT: Windows 11 Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) Acquisition and Deployment

Once the ZIP file is downloaded, follow these steps to deploy the VHD:

1. Download Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft.
2. Open Hyper-V Manager → New → Virtual Machine.
3. Choose Generation 2, assign CPU/RAM, create a new VHDX (fixed or dynamically expanding).
4. In Connect Virtual Hard Disk, point to the new VHDX.
5. Attach the ISO to the VM’s DVD drive.
6. Enable Secure Boot and add a virtual TPM (if required).
7. Start the VM and run Windows Setup; install into the VHDX.
8. After setup, install Hyper-V Integration Services / guest additions as needed.
