Plot
: An atheist named Malli (Nagarjuna), born with the grace of Lord Shiva, must fulfill his destiny to stop an ancient demon from sacrificing a young woman during a rare celestial event. Original Title : Damarukam (Telugu). Genre : Action, Fantasy, Superhero.
- Opening set-piece: A crowded commuter train in Mumbai is attacked by a seemingly ordinary commuter who suddenly exhibits superhuman strength and collapses, causing panic. Shiva intervenes, protecting civilians and capturing a small piece of unfamiliar hardware that pulses with energy.
- Aftermath: News frenzy. Nina reveals similar incidents across the city. Police increase patrols; Commissioner Desai publicly demands action.
- Inciting incident: Dr. Meera, researching neural modulation, recognizes the hardware as a stripped-down version of her lab’s prototype “NeuroLock” — meant to stabilize neural excitability for trauma patients.
