Rk3229 Android 10 Firmware Updated [hot] May 2026

Because the Rockchip RK3229 is an entry-level SoC (System on Chip) from 2014-2015, running Android 10 on it is a significant feat of software optimization. The official support for this chip stopped at Android 5.1 or Android 7.1.

1. Disconnect the power cable from your TV box.
2. Plug the USB A-to-A cable into your PC and into the OTG port of the box (usually USB port 2 or a dedicated OTG port).
3. Press and hold the reset button (inside AV port or a physical button) with a paperclip.
4. While holding reset, connect the power adapter.
5. Release reset after 5-10 seconds.
6. In AndroidTool, the device should now show as “Found One MASKROM Device” (green icon).
