• Raccoon City: Once the booming home of the Umbrella Corporation, the city is now a dying ghost town. The corporation has pulled out, leaving the economy in ruins and the remaining inhabitants strange and sickly.
• The Hook: Claire Redfield returns to the city to find her brother, Chris. Simultaneously, the S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) Alpha Team is sent to investigate the Spencer Mansion after contact is lost with the Bravo Team.
• The Outbreak: As night falls, the T-virus leaks into the town’s water supply, turning the residents into zombies. The survivors must navigate the horrors of the Spencer Mansion and the Raccoon City Police Station (R.P.D.) to uncover the truth and escape before the city is "sanitized."
