Finding a fix for installing or running a Prison Architect NSP

  1. On your PC: Download Prison Architect Base NSP + Latest Update NSP (v1.2.5 as of this post) + Latest DLC NSP (if you want "Island Bound").
  2. On your Switch: Run DBI → “Browse SD Card” → Delete any existing Prison Architect folders in /switch/ and /atmosphere/contents/.
  3. In Hekate (Vol + PWR): Go to Tools → USB Tools → SD Partition → Fix Raw Bit. (This fixes corrupted FAT32 allocation).
  4. Reboot to Atmosphere.
  5. Install: Use DBI → “Run MTP Responder” → Drag and drop the NSP/UPD into the “Install to SD Card” folder on your PC. Wait for the green checkmark.
  6. Launch. Hold R on the game icon to bypass the RAM cheat overlay.
