Step 1: The Pit

Dig a 2x2 hole where you want the trap to be. Dig down at least 4 blocks (deeper if you want to ensure fatal fall damage). Place blocks at the bottom to deny the victim a water bucket landing, or fill it with lava/pointed dripstone for extra lethality. lovely craft piston trap 3.0

• Pistons retract to drop target into fall damage pit or mob grinder.
• Simple: pressure plate → piston retracts → trapdoor opens → target falls.
