The Early Years (1982–1988):

Founded in the early 1980s by brothers Yosi and Charly Domínguez in Ourense, Galicia, Los Suaves became legends for their poetic lyrics and high-energy live shows. Their "suave" (soft) name contrasted sharply with their powerful, raspy sound, which earned them a "Medalla de Oro de Galicia" and even a square named after them in their hometown.
