Jungheinrich Eje 120 Error Code 4372 Top ⚡

Introduction

  1. Weekly Wire Flex Test: During the daily checklist, move the tiller arm through its full range of motion while listening for grinding or crunching sounds (indicating broken plastic wire sheaths).
  2. Loom Strain Relief: Every 6 months, open the tiller hinge cover and add a zip tie to secure the wiring loom away from the sharp metal hinge edge.
  3. Anti-Corrosion Spray: In cold storage or wet environments, spray the tiller hinge connector with ACF-50 (not standard WD-40) to prevent green corrosion.
  4. Soft Landing Training: Train operators to not slam the tiller into the vertical stop. The mechanical shock transfers directly to the PCB solder joints.
  1. Immediate Standstill: The drive motor disengages. Pushing the throttle does nothing.
  2. No Lift Function: The hydraulic pump does not activate when pressing the lift button.
  3. Display Flicker: The dashboard display may intermittently flicker or dim when you move the tiller arm.
  4. Erratic Horn/Beacon: The horn might sound weakly, or the warning beacon might flash out of sync.
  5. Intermittent Recovery: Sometimes, moving the tiller arm to a specific vertical or horizontal angle makes the error disappear temporarily. Note: This intermittent behavior is a major clue pointing to wiring fatigue.
  1. Stop the truck and place it in a safe, parked position with the parking brake applied.
  2. Remove key and isolate battery before inspecting exposed wiring.
  3. Use appropriate PPE if accessing electrical components.
