This is an excellent request, as (often called ArtForm or Type3 in some localized versions) is a widely used CNC relief engraving and 2D/3D CAD/CAM software. However, it is an older version (circa mid-2000s) and lacks many modern conveniences.

Does anyone else here still run a machine exclusively off JDPaint 5.5?

I’d love to hear your post-processor tweaks for the newer RichAuto DSP controllers. Also, if anyone has figured out how to make it run smoothly on Windows 11 (without the "flickering cursor" bug), please share. JDPaint 5

1. "Dongle not found" error

• Cluttered: The interface is icon-heavy. There are toolbars everywhere. For a beginner, the sheer number of buttons can be overwhelming.
• Workflow Quirks: The workflow is not always linear. Sometimes you must "select" a tool before you can modify an object, which differs from standard Windows "click-object-then-action" logic.
