Dongle Requirement
: Most Infinity tools require a physical smart-card/dongle to function. v1.03 and subsequent versions typically require a specific dongle firmware (e.g., version 0154 or higher). What is Infinity Android Service Tool (AST)
- Connect the dongle and launch AST Ver 1.03.
- Select chipset: Choose “MediaTek (MTK)” from the platform dropdown.
- Load firmware: Click “Scatter-loading” and select the
MTxxxx_Android_scatter.txtfile from your stock ROM folder. - Select operations: Tick boxes for
Preloader,Bootloader,System, andUserdata. - Prepare the device: Power off the phone. Remove battery (if removable).
- Connect via USB while holding Volume Down+Up (or press the testpoint if bootloader is dead).
- Click “Download” – the tool will enter preloader mode and begin flashing.
- Wait for the green “OK” message. First boot may take 5–10 minutes.
