Step 1:
Download Victoria 5.37 (Avoid newer 5.4x versions which have malware reports). Step 2: Run as Administrator. Switch to the "Tests" tab. Step 3: Select your Hitachi drive. Crucial step: Uncheck "Use API" and select "Use PIO" instead. Hitachi drives respect PIO commands more than UDMA. Step 4: Select "Remap" from the dropdown. Step 5: Click "Scan" .
