Hannstar J Mv4 94v0 E89382 Boardview Exclusive
Unlocking the Blueprint: The Exclusive Guide to the HannStar J MV4 94V-0 E89382 Boardview
- HannStar rarely releases boardview files publicly.
- E89382 is a UL mark, not a model number – multiple boards share it.
- MV4 is likely an internal production code; no official schematic database exists online.
- Most “exclusive” boardviews are held by repair shops or e-waste recyclers.
- Opened the
.brd file.
- Searched net
VGH (typically +25V to +30V).
- The software highlighted a blown zero-ohm resistor
R890 near the boost converter IC (marked U3).
- Boardview showed
R890 connects directly to Pin 5 of U3 and Pin 1 of the LCD driver flex cable.
- Fix: Replaced
R890 with a solder bridge. VGH restored. Image perfect.
- DC in → PWM controller (e.g., RT8206, ISL6237) generates +3VPCU, +5VPCU always-on.
- S5_ENABLE → enables +1.8V, +1.2V (memory controller, PLL).
- RSMRST# (from KBC) → signals that rails are good.
- PWRBTN# → KBC toggles PS_ON# → main VRs (Vcore, VDDNB, +1.05V) enabled.
- Vcore good → VRM_PWRGD → CPU reset → BIOS fetch.
