1. Position the saddle: Place the black drain saddle clamp over your sink’s horizontal tailpiece (the pipe before the P-trap).
2. Drill the hole: Using the saddle as a guide, drill a 1/4-inch hole through the pipe. Do not drop plastic shavings into the pipe.
3. Attach: Place the rubber pad (with the hole) over the drilled opening. Sandwich the pipe with the other half of the saddle and bolt it tight.
4. Connect: Push the black tubing from the RO unit’s “Drain” port into the saddle’s barbed fitting.
