8. Security, Privacy, and Compliance Notes

1. Get Autodesk Education Institution Access (admin must apply)
2. Use Autodesk Identity Manager (AIM) for silent installs
3. Deploy using Network License Manager or Single Sign-On (SSO)
4. Lab users log in with their own Autodesk account → educational entitlement auto-applies

• Sign in with your school email (preferred) OR
• Upload documentary proof: student ID, class schedule, enrollment letter, or faculty employment verification.

1. Launch Fusion 360 from your Start Menu or Applications folder.
2. A browser window will pop up asking you to sign in. Enter your Autodesk credentials.
3. Fusion 360 will check your license status automatically.
4. You should see: "Welcome, [your name] | Educational License – Expires: [date 1 year from now]" in the top right corner of the Fusion 360 interface.
