Euro Truck Simulator 2: The Truth About "Version 1.46 Fixed Download Extra Quality"

1. Open Steam and go to your Library.
2. Right-click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 and select Properties.
3. Click on the Betas tab.
4. In the “Beta Participation” dropdown, scroll down until you see "temporary_1_46 - 1.46.x for incompatible mods".
5. Select it. Steam will automatically download the version 1.46 files, overwriting your current installation.
6. Important: Disable automatic updates for ETS2. In the Updates tab, set “Automatic updates” to “Only update this game when I launch it” – and always launch via the executable directly if you want to stay on 1.46.
