The "Service Required" message on your Epson L386 usually means the internal has reached its limit . While this often happens before the pads are physically overflowed, the printer will stop working until the counter is reset. Preparation: Before You Reset
- “Ink pad is at the end of its service life.”
- “Service required. Parts inside your printer are near the end of their service life.”
- Printing once a week prevents dry nozzles (which trigger deep cleanings).
- Avoid borderless printing unless necessary. Borderless printing flushes massive amounts of ink into the pads.
