The Adam Project follows the story of Adam Reed (played by Ryan Reynolds), a fighter pilot who finds himself traveling back in time to the year 2021, where he meets his 12-year-old self. As Adam tries to navigate his way back to the present, he teams up with his younger self and a brilliant scientist, Laura (played by Jennifer Garner), to prevent a catastrophic future from unfolding.
In the year 2050, time-traveling fighter pilot (Ryan Reynolds) steals a "time jet" to escape a dystopian future. His goal was to reach 2018 to save his wife, Laura (Zoe Saldaña), but he accidentally crash-lands in 2022 instead.
