The biggest improvement is the pause when waking the Switch from sleep mode. On official updates, this could disconnect you from the game. On this NSP + update, it’s bypassed entirely.

The Switch version uses a unique DRS that targets 720p docked / 576p handheld. In Update 1.02, the DRS algorithm was rewritten to prioritize frame timing over resolution.
