1. Vendor Check: Ensure your device firmware is on the last official Android 10 stock build. Flashing crDroid 6 over Android 11+ firmware will hard brick your device.
2. Recovery: Use TWRP 3.4.0 or 3.5.0. Do not use TWRP 3.6+ as they use incompatible encryption blobs.
3. Wipe: Dalvik, Cache, System, Data (but NOT Internal Storage).
4. Flash Order: crDroid 6 ROM.zip → OpenGApps (Android 10, Nano or Pico only) → Magisk 23.0 (not 24+).
5. First Boot: Wait 3-5 minutes. If it loops, format data (typing ‘yes’).
6. Disable Updates: Immediately go to crDroid Settings > System > Updater and disable "Auto-download". The crDroid 6 OTA servers are offline; manual updates are required.
