Solution 2: AutoCAD / DWG to PDF Workaround

Downloading a random font and installing it will not fix the missing mapping in your PDF or CAD software. The software is looking for a specific internal reference, not a user-installed font. To make it "work," you need to correct the reference, not collect fonts.
- Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro (not just the free Reader).
- Go to Print Production > Preflight.
- In the Preflight dialog, click the "Options" menu (top right) and select "Browse internal fixups..."
- Search for the fixup named: "Map missing fonts to a specific font".
- Select this fixup and click "Analyze and Fix".
- When prompted, enter the missing font name exactly as shown:
CIDFont+F1Normal(case-sensitive). - Map it to a standard replacement font, such as "Arial" or "Courier New" (for technical drawings, use "Courier New" as it mimics plotter fonts).
- Run the fixup and save the PDF as a new file.
