To ensure your results are "verified" by the software, follow the standard workflow in GraphPad Prism : : Enter your data into a Contingency table .

Suppose we want to determine if there is an association between the type of treatment and the outcome of a disease. We collect the following data:

  • $a=45, b=30, c=10, d=25$

Enter Raw Counts

: Input your data into the grid where rows represent groups (e.g., treatment) and columns represent outcomes (e.g., pass/fail). Do not use normalized values .
