4. Step-by-Step ISN Editing Process

Edit & Write:

Use the software to overwrite the donor DME's ISN with the master ISN.

• Don't fear it, but respect it. If you are swapping ECUs or ignition switches, the ISN is the first thing you need to address, not the last.
• Invest in knowledge (or tools). Knowing that a "Start Authorization" failure is usually an ISN sync issue saves you from buying parts you don't need (like a fuel pump or starter) or paying dealer prices for a simple software reset.
