Sly Diggler’s performance in this scene is noteworthy for its restraint. A lesser performer might have played the role as aggressive or predatory. Instead, Diggler’s “Bull” is patient and almost tender. He is a storm contained in a suit jacket. The scene’s power dynamic is established not through dialogue (there is very little) but through spatial dominance. He enters her space, pours himself a drink, and sits across from her. The silence is the negotiation.

Max was a skilled animal handler who had been observing Bella from afar. He was impressed by her tenacity and her unique approach to handling Thor. One day, as Bella was struggling to get Thor to move, Max approached her. He offered his assistance but made it clear that he wouldn't take over.
