Baywatch (2017) Movie Report

The movie follows the story of Mitch Buchannon (played by David Hasselhoff), the leader of a team of lifeguards on the beaches of Baywatch, Los Angeles. The team consists of Matt Brody (played by Dwayne Johnson), a former Olympic swimmer who joins the Baywatch team; C.J. Parker (played by Kelly Rohrbach), a beautiful and charming lifeguard; and others.

This is Standard Definition (SD) . It is suitable for mobile devices or small screens but will look blurry on large 4K or 1080p TVs.

At its best, Baywatch is a guilty‑pleasure beach movie: it’s playful, escapist, and knowingly ridiculous. At its worst, it squanders its cast’s potential on thin jokes and a formulaic plot. It briefly touches on loyalty and redemption but never explores those themes with much seriousness.
