She attended the prestigious Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai, where she was the head girl. Later, she moved to the U.S. to study at Tufts University , where she won a gold medal for her economics paper.
Amisha Patel grew up in a Gujarati family in Mumbai. Her father, Amit Patel, was a businessman, and her mother, Ghena Patel, was a homemaker. Amisha completed her schooling at St. Ann's High School, Bandra, and later graduated in Bio-genetic engineering from Tufts University, Massachusetts, USA. However, her passion for acting led her to pursue a career in films.
