To install (Akruti Publisher), the widely used Indian language typing software for Odia, Hindi, and other regional scripts, follow these steps: Installation Steps
- Open a sample document and type using the selected keyboard.
- If characters appear broken, reinstall the corresponding Akruti font set via Control Panel → Programs → Akruti Fonts.

Operating System:
Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, or 11 (Note: On Windows 10/11, you may need to run the installer in "Compatibility Mode"). Akruti 7
- After the file copy is complete, a registration window will appear.
- Enter the Serial Key or License Key provided with your software.
- Depending on your version, you may need to browse for a specific license file (
.licor.keyfile) located on the CD or in the installation folder. - Click "Finish" once the registration is successful.
Step 6: Restart Your Computer
- Use Akruti to Unicode Converter (online tools like Lipikaar or Baraha).
- Copy text from Word (Akruti font) > Paste into converter > Get Unicode output.
