Features:
- True 4K Channels: Only 22% of labeled “4K” channels delivered native 3840x2160 resolution. The remainder were upscaled 1080p or 720p.
- Bitrate Stability: Average bitrate for 4K streams was 12–15 Mbps (industry standard for reliable 4K is >25 Mbps). Resulted in macroblocking during high-motion scenes (sports, action films).
- HD/SD Channels: Acceptable quality with infrequent artifacts.
